Erasmus KA1 Teachers' Course Title:

Developing and Supporting Educational Entrepreneurship & Intrapreneurship in Schools

This forward-thinking course is designed to empower educators and administrators to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship within educational settings. As innovation becomes essential in education, fostering entrepreneurial mindsets can drive meaningful change and development in schools.

Aimed at educators, school leaders, and support staff, this course explores strategies to encourage entrepreneurial thinking and initiatives both inside and outside the classroom. Participants will learn to support students and staff in developing skills such as creativity, problem-solving, and leadership.

Through case studies, collaborative projects, and interactive discussions, educators will gain insights into creating an environment that supports entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to inspire and lead entrepreneurial efforts within their schools.

Course Content:

  • Understanding Entrepreneurship in Education: Key concepts and benefits of fostering entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
  • Cultivating an Entrepreneurial Mindset: Strategies to inspire creativity, resilience, and innovation among students and educators.
  • Integrating Entrepreneurship into Curriculum: Designing activities and projects that promote entrepreneurial skills and thinking.
  • Supporting Intrapreneurship in Schools: Encouraging staff to innovate and lead initiatives within the school setting.
  • Collaborative Projects and Ventures: Facilitate student-driven projects that mimic real-world entrepreneurial experiences.
  • Role of Technology and AI: Leveraging digital tools to support entrepreneurial learning and initiatives.
  • Community and Industry Partnerships: Building connections with local businesses and entrepreneurs to enhance learning experiences.
  • Evaluating Entrepreneurial Initiatives: Using metrics and feedback to assess the impact and success of entrepreneurial projects.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Assessment and Certificates:

Assessment of performance will be through delegate-completed portfolio of work. The final course certification for successful completion is a college-issued “Course Certificate of Completion”, for each module studied. In addition, where applicable, delegates will receive relevant EuroPass certificates.
